The second release by Thought Penny, entitled “Snowflakes and Stardust” will be released on November 19. This EP is a far cry from their previous self-titled release, Thought Penny.

Snowflakes and Stardust is a live performance of their classical music written over the past four years. Both Doug and Christine have a strong background in classical music, so this was not a stretch for either of them. This EP truly shows their musical diversity.

About Thought Penny

Thought Penny is the newest project by Doug and Christine Cochran who believe thoughts are one of the most sought after commodities out there. We share these thoughts with others on a daily basis.  A blend of Rock, Acoustic Rock, and Instrumental music from the Midwest.

Doug started playing guitar at age 4 and piano at age 7. He has been in the music industry since the early 80’s. He took a 10 year hiatus in the 90’s to pursue a career in engineering but has returned to music with a new found love.

Christine was classically trained at the Music Arts Institute of Independence, MO in the early 80’s. After a 20 year leave from music, she returned, performing with Doug as an acoustic duo in the Kansas City area in 2013.
