Long In The Tooth

How long has Long in the Tooth been together?

We have been together for going on six years now.

What would you say is your favorite experience playing live? Your worst?

We would have to say playing the Whiskey a Go Go, House of Blues, and the Roxy on the Sunset strip in L.A. would be our favorites. While we have had tech problems, sound problems, and all manner of stuff happen when we play live, we honestly believe we have never had a bad show.

You have added a new lead vocalist. What would you say is his greatest contribution to the music?

Adding Anthony as vocalist and Dean on Guitar has giving the band an energy and level of musicianship that has, well magic!!!!!

Who writes your music?

Jeff comes up with the feel for the song , then the whole band comes together a...

James D Smith – Miracles

James D Smith

James D Smith

James D Smith grew up in rural Louisiana listening to his mom’s old 45’s – Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Merle Haggard, and all the greats of that era. It comes as no surprise that these were his greatest influences. As he began to sing karaoke in the local bars, he patterned his singing style after Merle Haggard and became quite well known locally.

In the early 2000’s, he attended a benefit concert where he was introduced to Cathy Lemmon, Robert Metzger from Capitol Records, and Charlie Rich, Jr.  They introduced him to a talent scout and he auditioned for Capitol Records. He went to Nashville and recorded his 3 song EP with the studio band used on Dolly Parton’s CD at the time.

James has a deep baritone voice that is the perfect sound for the southern country style of his...

A lot can be said about a man that has chosen to learn from his mistakes, and turn them into triumphs. Through out his life, this is exactly what Wade Martinson has done. He was born in Layton Utah, November 20th 1987,to Dwain R Martinson and Margaret Burrows. From the time Wade was born he has always had a love for music in his blood. Living most of his life in small farming communities along Utah’s Wasatch front, Wade was brought up listening to Country Western Music.
